I can’t believe that I’ve been homeschooling the kids for a month already. Going into homeschooling I went in feeling in control quickly my thoughts had changed. Homeschooling a five-year-old ,three-year-old, while chasing around a 20 month old it’s a lot. I’ve questioned myself several times if I made the right decision to homeschool Christian.
There have been days when we have it all together and the others not so much. I try not to be so hard on myself and become overwhelmed because it wouldn’t make a great learning experience for the kids. Over the last week I’ve had to take a step back reevaluate how I structure our day, the kids learning environment, and getting onto a schedule. I love the flexibility of homeschooling because it allows you go at your own pace. At the same time it gets to be a little overwhelming not knowing if you’re taking the right steps to do what’s best for your child.
I know we are all having a tough time with schooling whether it’s homeschooling, e-learning, or in person but we are all doing our best. I’ve struggled trying to find a work life balance. Truth be told it’s VERY HARD! I have had the daycare conversation with Chris and we are thinking of our options. Make sure you are following me on Instagram to see how the changes are working for us.
Until next time
