“Will I ever lose the weight?” I have tried this weight loss journey thing a million and one times and I’ve always been defeated. Always had in mind that I wanted the body that I had over 5 years ago before I became a mom. Not to say that isn’t possible but I’m not the person I used to be and that body was for the 23 year old me. I have made a promise to my body that I will give it the love and care that it needs for me to be healthy for my family but most importantly myself. So here I am again on this journey but with a different mindset. I’m not losing the weight for a “Snatched body” (that would be nice) however it’s time that I focus on a healthier life. It starts by taking things one day at a time and no longer putting it off until tomorrow or waiting for the new month.
I’m planning a 90 day challenge to get me on the right foot for a total life change. I will no longer compare my results to others. This can be very discouraging and has caused me to give up quickly. Setting short goals for myself and not being so hard if I’m not able to achieve those goals. Below I’ve listed what I plan on doing for the first 30 days.
- Water… Water… Water. It:s so important to stay hydrated
- Intermittent fasting.
- Working out five times a week
- Proper self care
