This summer has definitely been an adventurous one. We recently had the opportunity to visit Gaylord Rockies and enjoy all of the Summer of More activities. The Gaylord of the Rockies Resort and Convention Center is only 14 minutes from the Denver Airport which is a huge convenience. The view from the hotel is right at the Rocky Mountains which is absolutely beautiful.
Gaylord Rockies offers luxury accommodations, family- friendly activities, and a beautiful view. From the very moment you enter the resort you are greeted by the nicest employees. The lobby area has a very open concept giving you a look around the entire main floor. We stayed in a double queen room which was very spacious for our family. The gift basket and note was so generous and the treats were delicious.
There was enough entertainment to keep the whole family busy. Indoor and outdoor pool with 3 water slides and a lazy river. The kids turned into mini artists during our time at the Princess and Pirate Art studio. We actually missed the escape room and completing the scavenger hunt throughout the Resort. Getting up and close to wild life during the wildlife encounters. Many outdoor activities like yoga, basketball, and tennis courts just to name a few. They also showed movies twice a day.
There are several restaurants and bars at the resort. We enjoyed dinner At the Moutain. We enjoyed a few drinks during happy hour and the kids had a sweet treat. The Market located on the main floor offered a variety of snacks and they also have a Starbucks. The Market had one of the best Grilled cheese sandwiches and yummy cookies.
On Sunday we enjoyed the cabana which was really nice. The cabana had towels, water, and TV’s. It was a great experience while chilling out by the pool side. Our last night was spent out on the lawn making smores watching the sunset sharing with each other our favorite part of our trip.
We had such a great time and I would highly recommend! Again thank you the Gaylord Rockies for an amazing weekend.
