A few week ago I wrote a post on the decision to homeschool Christian. This would have been his first year in Elementary a huge milestone that even parent looks forward to. No matter the decision any parent made it was probably the toughest choice for us all. To be clear were aren’t doing virtual school we are doing our own curriculum. Once I made the decision to homeschool Chris and I went to several stores and bought more than enough educational supplies for the school year. The items below were found at Ollies, Target, Amazon, and Dollar Tree.
We started our morning off with some flash cards. I let the boys pick out which set they wanted to work on. I love that the math card are VERY hands on. The money cards comes with 40 punch outs. Telling Time cards comes with stickers to make actual times on the cards. And the addition has a pull tab for these answers.
I think I have every workbook there is! We have workbooks for both Christian and Carter. Although he has a few weeks to start working on them I did get Christian a few 1st grade workbooks. I love that the Schoo Day Skills actually gives you a plan to go by and breaks down what your child should work on by the weeks.
Write and wipe books are a must have. I love how convient they are! Not only are they great for at home, I can also throw them in our diaper bag when on the go. Along with these items I will still being using all the learning products that I shared in my recent Learning tools blog. I’m really looking forward to seeing the boys progress this year.
